MY NAME IS MONALISA BORELLI.
AND I MAKE ART.
My creative life started early and continues today. I started with simple drawings, records of what I liked when I was a child and I carry this habit until now, transforming it daily into something bigger and welcoming more people.
I traveled the world to find more records, paths and inspirations, which ended up becoming a passion for photography - of places, people and everyday records.
My inspirations diverge a lot, but currently I really like to be inspired by living, in what defines a person
and how she tells the story of her life, so that I can tell mine too. Among them also come the form
of living in past decades, the way of dressing in pop culture
and underground fashion these days.
In this medium of inspiration, I translate into my language what is around me, in illustrations, paintings, digital creations, sewing, collage, publications, writing and among many other options that I feel that fits more with the proposal I intend to create .
I don't have a favorite theme for life, I like to talk and create depending on what I'm feeling, what I'm experiencing, what I'm experiencing at the moment. I am a person who is always moving between art styles, fashion styles and living styles. A chameleon, I might say.

We pass on what we believe.
We believe in art, communication and expression.
Where everything that is within its core can be transmitted and welcomed, because what is most sought out in the world is understanding,
so that the motivation to change what is around us finally blossoms and the new begins to emerge.
The important thing is not to feel that you are stagnant, because the more you move, the more you change and the more you know (yourself too!). Feeling and being are completely connected from birth, as this is how the journey through the world moves forward, and this is how we are expanding more and more, with authenticity and without labeling ourselves.
In a way that is accessible to everyone, always. Embrace your diverse (and often!) and conflicting selves.
